1. This 511 Hofner staple pickup is in good working order, rewound, strong, and reads 10.5 KOhm , and has a hookup lead measuring  12.5 cm
   The cover is CHROME plated. VGC
   NOTE that the left and right ends have both of the tabs in tact and pointing outward, and this would indicate that the pickup was from a solidbody electric , 172, 173 or possibly a 176 but non height adjustable base plate type. The outward pointing tabs tucked under the flat pickguard and masking tape was used across the base onto the guard to hold it in position.
