A rare part,

Vintage Hofner model 172 or 173  guitar neck. Good straight useable vintage neck.
Probably 1960-1964
Nice appearance , flamed maple. Very good condition rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot markers.
The frets have been dressed poorly, could be dressed and re-crowned as it is at the moment,
but a re-fret would make it a wonderful item with vintage strat looks.

The truss rod works but it has been adjusted up without string tension for many years so heat and straightening a little would benefit.
It has the original Hofner decal on the headstock.
Has had tuner changes over the years so, that means extra holes. A new nut would need to be made. All things that are easily rectified.
