1960’s Hofner 172 173 guitar neck (b)

A rare part,

Vintage Hofner model 172 or 173  guitar neck. ( Most likely a 173 neck )
Fair condition useable vintage neck.
Probably 1960-1964
Appearance is sanded back, frets OK but will be fine with a fret dress/re-crown.
Good condition rosewood fingerboard, a little fingernail grooving wear.
It has double pearl dot markers.
Headstock face shows two scratch lines from the E and A tuner post holes. These are not fractures, just scratches and will sand out or paint over.

The truss rod works but it has been adjusted up without string tension for many years so a little heat and straightening a little would benefit.
No Hofner decal on the headstock, just the ghost of where it once was.
A good cheap vintage project neck.
