A rare part from the 1960’s

Vintage Hofner model 172 or 173  guitar neck. Most likely a 172
Original good condition to look at but certainly  useable.

Full frets, straight neck, single pearl dot markers.
Good condition rosewood fingerboard

The pegface is original and although lacquer chipped away on the front, still has the original Hofner decal
. The rear of the headstock nearly all lacquer gone from chipping away but the rest of the neck has original patina lacquer, would come up a treat.

Comes with the original nut and string tree.

The truss rod works

A very handy item as-is for a project or restore. It is actually a worthy part for consideration.
A fret polish and a little artwork to the lacquer, I’m sure it would be a comfortable playing neck.
