1963-64 Approximately Hofner 500/1 Original Vintage Beatle bass neck part, damaged / repaired poorly

This part has been in my parts box for many years. I haven’t used it by now, maybe someone can.
As you can see, the headstock/neck crack repaired rather poorly, pinned and screwed and it is stable.
After all these years and rarity of the part. It certainly is worthy of finishing off the artwork on this repair and restoration and having it as a useable item again.
I remember the original bass  and it was in excellent order at the time and I was very fortunate to manage to find an original ’63 neck for it.

The neck is three piece maple with a great rosewood fingerboard and excellent frets. ( except zero fret missing as I’ve already used that and the faceplate )

Also, very good binding and truss rod works correctly
