An original vintage and quite rare 1965 VOX Phantom in British racing green. Mostly original except for an almost undetectable pro re-fret. Had I not been told of this detail I almost certainly wouldn’t have noticed.

How does it play? It compares very much in feel to a 64 Strat if you have ever had the good fortune and occasion to lay your hands on one. The profile of the neck is almost identical., the 3 pickups are also very much in the style of Fender Strat vintage single coils.
The 3 position rotary selector switch feels to me as being awkward to use but does work well. The next two controls are TONE for the neck and middle positions
No TONE control for the bridge pickup as it has that classic bright and trebly authentic 60’s sound that simply does not require the tone being rolled back.
The last control is the VOLUME knob. It seems unusual having it there but that is one of the design features that makes these guitars so unique and fun to play.
