A rare part from the 1960’s

Vintage Hofner model 172 or 173  guitar neck.
Poor-fair condition to look at but certainly restorable and useable.

But it does have full frets, double dot markers.
Good condition rosewood fingerboard
It has single pearl dot markers.
The pegface has been sanded back . The rear of the neck sanded back and brush lacquered roughly

The truss rod works

A very handy item as-is for a project or restore. It is actually a worthy part for consideration.
A fret polish and a little artwork to the lacquer, I’m sure it would be a comfortable playing neck.
