DESCRIPTION
Edwards E-LP-85S LP Standard style, made in Japan approx. 2001, genuine player rock guitar faded relic gold top.
Edwards brand is a division of ESP Guitars.
This is a pre-serial example of their renowned LP-style offerings, late enough to have a pair of Duncan pickups
It is heavy mahogany body, weighing 5kg.
Having a ’59 style fat round neck.

Made: Japan, 2001 approx, ESP plant (no serial on this model)
Finish: gold top, natural clear back/sides/neck, thin poly
Neck: mahogany, rosewood board with trapezoid pearloid fret markers, 24.75″ scale, 12″ radius, beefy ’58 style shape
Body: mahogany, maple cap
Weight: 5.000kg
Mods: , tone capacitors replaced to large orange drop
Pickups: Seymour Duncan SH-4 JB and SH-1 ’59 humbucker x2
Case: newer LP hardcase
This guitar has been well played as a pro player rock guitar. It shows real play wear, some dings and parks as expected. It has done the real work and proved to be a reliable great sounding LP.
Playing condition notes: Neck is straight, action is low, frets are low and wide like almost like late 60’s fretless wonder Gibson guitars. |
The intonation is good, truss rod works. All electrics tested and working properly. The frets have minor wear only,
Original tuners with keystone heads all working well. The bridge and tailpiece are original Gotoh brand.
