Original vintage Hofner 1961-63 Pickup Diamond logo suits hollowbody guitar

Note the pickup cover end tags point downward rather than out to the sides indicating that this was once on a height adjustable base plate and would have required a wide frame for mounting. Contact me if you need one of the brass base plates for this item and I will do my best to locate and include it.
Nice long 37cm lead indicates this would have been a neck position pickup. The pickup reads 6.74 KOhm ,
The pickup has been recently rewound/restored and is in good working order with some marking and scratches to the cover, also one bit of a rusty pole screw which will clean/polish up nicely.
