1929 MARTIN Model 2-17
Small body,
mahogany top back and sides.
A great guitar to enter into the vintage market with, not a mint collectable but a wonderful playable guitar with a story, The bass side of the guitar has a few words etched into it . The owner during the 1940’s obviously had loaned the guitar to someone and etched into the side of the guitar wrote a name (Cliff Ashby – and the message
‘This guitar is worth  £ 90 ,
‘Please return (name looks like Burt Wilams ?) by 21/11/47

Top and sides have had a light blow over with clear nitro….
Very good tight neck set, beautiful ebony fingerboard and original frets.
Tight bridge, very good intonation. Original tuners.
This guitar plays well and sounds great. Superlight at only 1125gm and has amazing projection.

Comes with very good hardcase.
