Brunette / Antique-burst finish.
Pearloid celluloid faceplate, truss rod cover, fretboard markers and original pearloid pickguard.

Wide control panel. All electrics original and working correctly.

Truss rod working correctly.
No neck cracks or repairs. This guitar has not had a neck reset and does not require a neck reset. It is original factory setting with no commonly seen separation at the neck/heel area. All good!

A very good condition and good playing example mid 60’s Hofner

Lacquer on the top side and neck is really great with hardly any wear, chips or scratches. Well looked after. with full colour richness lustre and shine.
The back shows a strap or lead mark/impression which isn’t really bad but can be seen in the photos, please look closely.

The neck is very good, straight, full frets and very much a playable functional guitar.

Other noteworthy points are a replaced nut and slightly bent ‘D’ tuner shaft.
