This Ibanez Les Paul Deluxe 59’er is from the famous law suit era Ibanez copy guitars prior to Ibanez changing to their new design headstock.
A very nice example with great colour and a bookmatched flame maple top. Really well cared for but certainly one that has been played. Original tuners, straight neck, original frets, have been dressed over the time. Original pickups, bridge and tailpiece and original pots. Original cream plastic guard and p/u frames. Features the trapezoid style pearl fingerboard inlays on a rosewood fingerboard.
All binding in very good condition, Pegface is excellent.
A very good playing and good sounding guitar well worth considering if you are not only looking for a good vintage guitar to invest in but something that can be enjoyed as a very playable instrument.
Note that the back control plate has once had a small in line switch installed for some function, now removed.
Presently set-up with Daddario 9-42 light gauge and intonation adjustment to suit but the buyer is most welcome to request their preferred gauge and set-up prior to packing and shipping.
