- This 511 Hofner staple pickup is in good working order, strong, and reads 10.54 KOhm , and has a hookup lead measuring a quite short 9 cm The cover is nickel plated. NOTE that the left and right ends have the tabs in tact and this would indicate that the pickup was from a solidbody electric that was not using height adjustable brass base plates. as these just fitted snugly under the pickguard and were usually just taped into place but having these tabs means that it can also be used on the later models.
